Instructional coaches and mentors, new and experienced, attended PIIC's latest professional learning opportunity in Camp Hill, PA on October 19th - 21st.  The event was held at the Radisson in Camp Hill. The PD session was the fourth statewide professional development event that PIIC has sponsored since February 2009. 

PIIC models ongoing professional development through the IU PIIC Mentor.  Each IU PIIC Mentor brings the same team of instructional coach colleagues with him or her to each event as well as inviting new participating PIIC colleagues to join.  As a result, the number of coaches in each IU team grows at every event.  Mentors are involved in the planning and facilitation of the statewide events, and also in the ongoing implementation of the PIIC program of study and PLN strategies in between statewide events.
